You should also refer back to the relaxation techniques on the Patient Self-Help Guide handout I gave you. Sonia: Yes, I have been. I watch a little TV in bed at night, but it doesn't help. Vivian: Watching TV at night may actually be keeping you awake by making you concentrate on something other than sleeping. You should meditate or take a bath instead. Try to save your bed as a place for sleep only. Maybe you should remove your TV from your bedroom entirely. Sonia: Okay. |
