Week 2 of Antiviral Treatment
BDI Score: 9
BDI Question 9: 0

Vivian: Hello, Sonia! It's great to see you again.

Sonia: Hello.

Vivian: How are things going with the medication?

Sonia: Well, all right. I am a little more tired than usual. It's difficult to get my work done...just because I am so tired.

Vivian: I see. That can happen during treatment. Are you able to go to work?

Sonia: Yes.

Vivian: Are you still enjoying activities at home?

Sonia: Yes, I am gardening and hiking.

Vivian: How about your mood? How have you been feeling on most days?

Sonia: Pretty good.

Vivian: Are you more up than down?

Sonia: Yes, I would say I am pretty happy. Even though I am tired, I am managing the interferon pretty well. I enjoy working in the garden. I am trying to add a new rose garden...though I have to go a little slower now because I am tired.

Vivian: Great! It looks like you are managing things pretty well. However, your BDI score did increase a little. Let's just watch your mood. Before our next appointment at 4 weeks, if you find that you have any problems concentrating or if you become really tired and sad, please call us. Will you do that?

Sonia: Yes.
