Welcome back to the clinic. I bet you are wondering what happened with Sonia! It's been 4 weeks since she was here giving us such a terrible scare. The mental health team who evaluated Sonia felt that she could be managed with antidepressants and close follow-up. She was started on sertraline at a dose of 50 mg/day. We all agreed that it was best she stop the interferon treatment.

She has come back for a follow-up consultation regarding her hepatitis C. Her BDI is back down to 9. Let's go speak with her.
