BDI Question 9: TBD

Okay, now we need to talk with Sonia about taking an antidepressant to try to prevent elevating depression symptoms. Before we do that, why don't you think about which medication you would prescribe for Sonia if she agrees to begin pharmacological therapy?

Below are several different medications. Identify which medication would NOT be a proper initial dosage. Look through your Antidepressant Medications handout, then click on the best answer:

A) citalopram at 10 or 20 mg/day

B) paroxetine at 10 or 20 mg/day

C) sertraline at 10 or 20 mg/day

D) fluoxetine at 10 or 20 mg/day

Now let's go see Sonia.
