William: No. I just get discouraged and feel down sometimes. I really do want to live. I have two boys, you know! I guess it goes through everybody's mind at some time.

Vivian: Have you or a family member ever tried to commit suicide?

William: No. Never.

Vivian: Okay, I have one further question. Do you have a firearm in your house?

William: No, my wife hates guns. She won't have any around, and I would be worried about the boys-they are always getting into things.
