William: Well, I thought I should call because I have been feeling a little down lately.and my wife says I've been irritable.

Vivian: I am sorry to hear that, but it is something that often happens to patients on interferon therapy. Thanks for calling and telling us, William. Do you feel tearful?

William: No, not at all. It's not really bad or anything, I just feel sad a lot of the time.

Vivian: I know that's difficult. Are you eating and sleeping all right?

William: Not really. I don't sleep well and don't feel like doing much of anything during the day. My appetite is lousy.
