Determining the Need for Antidepressant Medications
Okay, we have discovered that William has a high normal BDI score, two or more past psychiatric diagnoses (cannabis abuse and depressive episodes), a family history of a mood disorder, and previous depressive symptoms triggered by interferon. These facts indicate that William may be at risk for developing depression once we start his interferon therapy.
